A Rare Saturday Off 06-23-18

Well, what do ya know?? I have a Saturday off! Gotta prepare for an on-tape, nap, eat, play the ukulele and basically lounge around in my pad. Going out bar hopping in DTLA tonight!

The bar is going well, it’s a ton of work, but I am at it!

Have two auditions this week so everything is chaotic!

I just wanted to take a moment to say goodbye to Anthony Bourdain.

Anthony wasn’t just a chef, a poet, a host, a raconteur, he was a philosopher. He found a way to show the world that we are one people no matter how different our customs are. He showed us that we all struggle and have fears and that fears do not have to lead to hate and war. That is all started by governments vying for control. He was able to bridge the fear through food and drink and always had love in his heart for everyone and everything. Despite his gruff, gnarly exterior he brought the world together. In the end, he couldn’t find the love for himself, at least at that moment. A sad day for all of us. R.I.P Tony, you will be sorely missed.
